Shelbyville, IN – – The City of Shelbyville is excited to announce the establishment of a dedicated public viewing site for the upcoming community event on Tom Hession Drive. This site has been carefully organized to ensure the safety and convenience of all attendees while enhancing their overall experience.

Key Details:

1. City Employee Assistance: City employees and law enforcement will be stationed onsite to facilitate traffic management and ensure smooth navigation for all attendees.

2. Traffic Flow Directions
: To streamline traffic flow, attendees are advised that there will be no entry off County Road 400. Instead, vehicles should enter Tom Hession Drive from County Road 300. Upon exiting Tom Hession Drive, attendees will have the option to turn left or right onto County Road 400.

3. Road Closure Schedule: Tom Hession Drive will be closed to through traffic starting at 9:00 am on April 8, 2024.

4. Facilities and Amenities: Throughout the one-mile stretch of road, attendees will find port-o-lets, trash bins, and one food truck, serving delicious Mexican cuisine. Additionally, a first aid trailer will be stationed at the only dead end of the road going west.

5. Capacity and Parking: Parking will be available for up to two cars on each side of the road, totaling ~150 cars.

6. Exit Strategy: After the event, attendees are encouraged to exit via County Road 400 North. They can then turn right or left and utilize the frontage road to return to County Road 300 for access back to Fairland.
