Department of Law
The City Attorney is responsible for providing legal advice and handling of the City’s legal affairs including:
- Litigation
- Contracts
- Ordinance Enforcement and Drafting
- Providing legal advice to the Mayor, Common Council, Boards, Commissions, and Departments
The City Attorney’s Office is located on the 2nd floor of the City Hall building, which is open to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
