Shelbyville, IN – April 26, 2024 – The Shelbyville Police Department will be hosting a press conference on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024, at 11:00 am to recognize the courageous actions of Officer Devin Moore during the recent incident on I-74. Officer Moore’s swift response led to the successful rescue of a driver and passenger from a burning vehicle.
Officer Moore will be present at the press conference and will entertain limited questions pertaining to his actions on the day of the incident. The focus of the conference will be on honoring Officer Moore’s bravery and selflessness in the face of danger.
Please note that discussions regarding the circumstances of the crash, details about the individuals involved, or any other factors related to the incident will not be addressed during the conference. The Shelbyville Police Department aims to highlight Officer Moore’s heroic efforts exclusively.
