Shelbyville, IN – The City of Shelbyville is thrilled to announce the upcoming Fall Festival, a special event dedicated to shopping local and supporting our vibrant community. The festival will take place on Friday, August 23, 2024, in Historic Downtown Shelbyville.

Mayor Scott Furgeson is leading this initiative to incorporate more community-focused events in our downtown green space, aiming to increase tourism and showcase the charm of our city. Events like the Fall Festival have a significant economic impact on downtown businesses, drawing in both residents and visitors to explore, shop, and enjoy everything Shelbyville has to offer.

Time: All Day (Concert by Hello Weekend from 7-9 PM)
Activities: Shopping, Kids Activities, and Picnic on the Square

Residents and visitors are invited to “Sip, Shop, Stay in Shelbyville.” Explore unique shops and local vendors, enjoy delicious food from our fantastic local establishments, and experience the vibrant community spirit that makes Shelbyville special. The event will feature a free concert by the amazing band Hello Weekend from 7-9 PM, perfect for attendees of all ages. Families can also look forward to a variety of fun activities for kids.

Mayor Furgeson encourages downtown businesses to extend their shopping hours, offer specialty items or sales, and utilize their exterior brick space to celebrate the fall season and the small-town atmosphere our community appreciates.
