Staff Bio
Troy has spent roughly 10 years serving as the Code Enforcement Officer for the Planning and Building Department. This role encompasses the routine enforcement of both the Unified Development Ordianance and the City’s Nuisance Codes. Troy is responsible for receiving and reponding to complaints of alleged violations of public nuisance codes, such as weeds, trash, animal control, and abandoned vehicles, and investigating zoning complaints and violations, including making on-site inspections, taking photographs, recording notes, and initiating appropriate action on code violations. Aside from his role with the Planning and Building Department, Troy also serves as a Reserve Officer for the Shelbyville Police Department.
